Dining
Furniture for the dining room tends to fall into 2 different categories. Both of which are on display in the House of Wood showrooms and both are available predominately in oak.
Firstly is what the House of Wood call “comfortable” dining.
This is usually country style and often produced in a distressed finish suited to order properties, cottages and barn conversions.
Tables from 2 seater to 16 seater are on display in the showroom.
Sideboards, Buffets, Dressers and all other pieces are available. As with all House of Wood furniture there are colour choices and, where needed, colour matching is an offer.
The alternative look is the fresh, simple, clean lines of contemporary so beloved recently by the fashion settlers in the interior magazines and TV make over programmes.
Although this look is less detailed and fussy, the furniture available at the House of Wood is of the same high standards which are required.
Top quality oak is used often unstained, just a coat of Treatex oil or matt lacquer is applied which enhances the simple look and emphasis the grain.
Occasional furniture is available in all ranges.
